Chapter Twelve

A Warrior Rises

The drive back seemed to go by far too slow. All she could think about was Blake’s hot, sweaty body on hers. She wanted to kiss and touch him all over. This time she wanted take his shaft in her mouth, she wanted to gift him the same pleasure he had given her. She usually was not the kind of person to have such thoughts about anyone, but Blake made her feel a certain way no one had ever made her feel before. It was hard to concentrate on the road, she wanted him so badly that her body was shaking.

Finally, she reached the little dirt road that led her to his cabin. The closer she got to his cabin the more excited she got. As soon as she saw the cabin, she parked the car and jumped out. Excitingly, she turned towards Blake who jumped out of the truck just a few yards behind her. Without turning off the engine he came running towards her.

Fear was written all over his face and he seemed to be panicking, “Get in the house,” he jumped, and she watched his clothes rip apart as he turned into the gorgeous black wolf.

She quickly turned around to head to the cabin, but a growling red wolf stopped her in her tracks. His muzzle was wide open and showed his huge, sharp, and white teeth. Niev took a step back, tumbled and fell to the floor. In that same moment she felt Blake leap over her and watched as he sank his teeth in the shoulder of the red wolf. The red wolf clawed and bit him in an attempted to free himself from Blake, but Blake only tightened his jaw muscles causing the red wolf to let out a painful howl. Out of nowhere another wolf with golden brown fur came running towards Blake and the red wolf. He jumped and grabbed Blake, biting into his shoulder, causing Blake to lose his balance and fall to the ground. Blake was determined and wouldn’t let go of the red wolf pulling him to the ground as he fell.

Run

Blake’s voice echoed through her mind and without hesitation she turned around to run away, a rush of adrenaline flowing through her body. There just a few feet away from her stood a third wolf. He was pure white and larger than the other two but not larger than Blake. He growled and licked his lips, preparing himself to jump Blake from behind. He was so focused on Blake that Niev was sure he wasn’t paying attention to her; his eyes were fixated on Blake.

As she looked at the white wolf and his deathly glare, she knew Blake would not survive another wolf attacking him. She realized she, herself, would not survive without Blake. Her heart pounded inside of her chest as she was trying to figure out what to do. She needed to stop the wolf from attacking Blake. She needed Blake to survive.
